FESTIVAL — LEGAL
Privacy policy
How we process your data in connection with the DANCEIMPERIAL Festival.
We are pleased about your visit to the website of the DANCEIMPERIAL Festival and about your interest in what we offer. Protecting your personal data is important to us. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and this privacy policy. Personal data means all data by which you can be personally identified.
This website can be used without providing personal data. Personal data is only collected where you provide it to us yourself, in particular when booking a ticket. Please note that data transmission over the internet, for example when communicating by email, can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
DANCEIMPERIAL GmbHManaging directors: Roland Sintic and Dr. Thomas Grund
Dr.-Gessler-Str. 41
93051 Regensburg, Germany
Telephone: (0941) 91 06 99 66
Email: Info@DANCEIMPERIAL.de
2. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of data protection law you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, telephone +49 981 180093-0, email poststelle@lda.bayern.de.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The host processes the data arising when the pages are called up on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Access data and server log files
When this website or individual files are called up, the following data is collected and stored: IP address, the website from which the file was requested, the name of the file requested, the date and time of the request, the volume of data transferred and a message about whether the request was successful. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Reach measurement without a tracking service
We evaluate the accesses to this website exclusively with our own, self-operated procedure. No external analytics service is used, no cookies are set and no script is executed in your browser. The evaluation is based solely on the server log files named above. Before storage, your IP address is converted into a value that cannot be calculated back, using a cryptographic procedure; no plain-text IP address is stored in the evaluation. The evaluation serves statistical purposes and the improvement of our offering only. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. On the page with the workshop schedule you can create a personal shortlist. So that this shortlist is kept after you close your browser, it is stored in the local storage of your device. This only happens after you have expressly agreed; if you choose “only for this visit”, nothing is stored on your device. The shortlist does not leave your device and is not evaluated by us.
7. Ticket booking for the DANCEIMPERIAL Festival
If you request a ticket via the form on this website, we process the data you provide in order to handle your booking, issue the ticket and settle the ticket price. This includes in particular first and last name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, the festival content selected and, for bookings for two people, the same details for the second person.
If you pay by SEPA direct debit, we additionally process the account holder, IBAN and BIC as well as the SEPA direct debit mandate granted. This data is transmitted to our bank insofar as this is necessary to process the payment. The IBAN is stored by us in encrypted form and deleted once the booking has been paid in full or cancelled; only the last four digits remain visible for recognition purposes.
Technically, the transmission works as follows: the submitted form is buffered in encrypted form on our web server at Hetzner Online GmbH and collected by our internal administration system. All further processing takes place exclusively on our own systems. No payment service provider is involved.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and, as far as the retention of invoicing data is concerned, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with the retention obligations under commercial and tax law.
8. Map display
The map on this website is a static image delivered from our own server. Simply calling up the page does not establish any connection to a map service and no data is transmitted to third parties. Only when you click on the map does the website openstreetmap.org open, and your browser then transmits the usual connection data to its operator.
9. Photography and video recordings at the festival
During the DANCEIMPERIAL Festival, we or third parties commissioned by us take photographs and film recordings and use them for public relations work around the festival. The details and the scope of the rights granted follow from section 10 of the festival’s terms and conditions, which you accept when booking a ticket.
10. Disclosure of data
We only pass on the data that is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations or to ensure a smooth process, or whose disclosure is required by law. Data is not passed on for advertising purposes. Your data is only stored for as long as it is necessary for the respective purpose or required by law.
11. Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw consent you have given to the processing of your data at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
12. Data security and communication by email
Your personal data is stored using technical and organisational measures in such a way that it is not accessible to third parties. When communicating by email we cannot guarantee complete data security, which is why we recommend sending confidential information by post.
13. Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of contact details published under our legal notice obligation for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information.
14. Encrypted transmission
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser begins with “https://” and your browser displays a padlock symbol. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
15. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, please contact the controller named above. Only data whose erasure is not opposed by statutory retention obligations can be deleted.
